You might recognize Lisa and Tim from the awesome engagement pictures I posted on the blog last summer. It was under much different weather conditions that we met again a couple of days after Christmas for their wedding at the State Room in Boston.  Can’t say anyone minded much that it was too cold to linger long outside because inside it was nice and toasty and the view from the top of 60 State Street was breathtaking (literally for me — I’m terribly afraid of heights).  Guests pressed against the windows to take in the view of the harbor, Faneuil Hall, and the Custom House.  As night fell, Lisa and Tim exchanged vows in a personal service preformed by the bride’s uncle.  The State Room was transformed with the glow of hundreds of candles and the amazing staff at the State Room made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night.  It was a beautiful setting for a sophisticated — and fun — reception.  This was definitely one of those weddings where I kept wishing I were a guest instead of working!

Best wishes to Lisa and Tim for a life together filled with love and understanding.  It was a true delight and honor to document their wedding.  You will find some of the highlights from the wedding below.  To see more, check out this slideshow.  Friends and family can contact Lisa or Tim for access to their password-protected online gallery.

My gratitude to Ryan and Meredith for referring me to Lisa.  It’s always a treat to see my clients, especially after a couple of years.

Many thanks to all of the following professional wedding vendors who helped make Lisa and Tim’s wedding so wonderful:  Venessa — and all of the amazing staff — at The State Room, flowers by Michele Bernard, DJ Mike Amado who kept things on the dance floor moving, and the super fun photobooth provided by Entertainment Specialists.  Bride’s and bridesmaids’ hair was done by Amanda and Maria did the make up (both from Lavish Salon in Winchester, MA).  Bridal gown by Lazaro from Allegria Bridal in Boston.  Bridesmaids wore dresses by J. Crew.  The wedding party got ready at the gorgeous Ames Hotel.
