A Cape Cod Wedding | Laura + Mark

April 16, 2012

Laura and Mark drive by the Captain Linnell House every time they visit Mark’s family’s home at Skaket Beach in Orleans, MA. So when they got engaged they didn’t have to look far for the perfect venue for their wedding. Location and date decided, Laura set out to find a photographer. I am so fortunate her searching led her to me. This wedding was one filled with much laughter, a few tears, and lots of love. Laura and Mark were surrounded by such an amazing group of friends and family whose love and support that day (and I assume always) was a joy to witness.

To say this was a fun group would be an understatement. It’s not often that the introduction of the wedding party brings the house down — there were screams of laughter and lots of cheering as everyone was announced into the reception. The tone set by the intros remained all night as the dance floor stayed packed and the revelers groaned and protested when told it was the last dance.

Many thanks to Laura and Mark and to their family and friends for the warm welcome. It was a true pleasure and honor to be a part of such a wonderful event.

Best wishes to the newlyweds! May they have a lifetime of joy together.

Below are a few highlights from the day. To see more, take a look at the slideshow.
