When the rocks along the bay are too blustery and there’s someone shooting in your other favorite location, having a third favorite spot never hurts. Thankfully Fort Williams has more than enough scenery for us.

The first day of mini-sessions went great! It was too blustery to be by the water, but at Fort Williams you are sort of spoiled for choice with photo locations.

It’s not too late to schedule a family portrait. Contact me today.

I had never shot at Fuller Farm in Scarborough, but on a walk there with my family earlier this summer I remarked how perfect it was for a family portrait. I mentioned this to a photographer friend who warned me of a few things — that it’s not as nice when they’ve mowed and that it’s a popular spot with other photographers. She was correct on both counts. I arrived to find the place full of photographers and the fields all mowed. I spied a set of rolling hills I wanted to use for my session and hoped my clients would be up for a bit of a trek. I’m pretty sure we broke some rules by leaving the trail – sorry Scarborough Land Trust! – but we managed to find a lovely couple of spot with great light. Thanks for braving the marshy spots!
