When Melissa inquired about having me photograph her wedding, she told me she’d been referred by a dear friend, Rebekah.\u00a0 Would I consider a wedding on the Cape she asked.\u00a0 Heck yeah!\u00a0 More importantly, I just knew that Melissa was a going to be a warm, kind, and creative person (i.e. awesome client) by her association with Rebekah.<\/p>\n

Both the ceremony and reception was at the Captain Linnell House in Orleans, MA.\u00a0 They run a very efficient ship there and offer a pretty outdoor ceremony site.\u00a0 It’s located just up the road from Skaket Beach, where Melissa spent her summers growing up.\u00a0 Melissa and Rob were keen to get some portraits down on the beach.\u00a0 It was sunset, the timing was perfect.\u00a0 Except we failed to consider the little biting bugs.\u00a0 These bugs made the beach intolerable and forced us to retreat back to the Capt. Linnell House — but not before we got some really great images.<\/p>\n
