It’s a lie to call this\u00a0an “engagement” session.\u00a0\u00a0Joan and Jay are getting married\u00a0this Saturday, and they’ve been engaged for a while now.\u00a0\u00a0We almost\u00a0had\u00a0this session at the beginning of the summer when they had flown in from their home in Seattle, \u00a0but they both\u00a0chickened out<\/span>\u00a0 were \u00a0jetlagged.\u00a0 I am so glad they decided to give it a go because\u00a0this photo shoot was a blast.\u00a0 Originally I’d planned on shooting at Fort Williams,\u00a0but after talking with Joan we decided to go for something a bit more edgy.\u00a0 Into the Old Port we headed.\u00a0 Yeah, I know, it’s not really\u00a0an urban jungle, but\u00a0we worked with what we had.\u00a0 I am\u00a0thrilled with the results.\u00a0 Thanks for pushing me to think outside my usual comfort zone, Joan and Jay.\u00a0\u00a0You two really rocked it and fearlessly tackled some very public locations.\u00a0 Can’t wait\u00a0for Saturday!\u00a0 Don’t forget to practice smiling with your eyes!<\/p>\n
