Ray and his daughter conspired to surprise Melissa with a portrait session at the Nubble Light in York, Maine. Melissa always told them that she thought it was a beautiful spot for pictures, so on their most recent visit to Maine we surprised her with a portrait session. Thankfully Ray took my advice and told Melissa about the session the night before so she could prepare some outfits. As I told Ray, no woman wants a photo shoot sprung on her at the last minute! It was such a pleasure to meet these two. It was like photographing an engaged couple — they are still crazy about each other after 20+ years of marriage.

I started photographing Eloise when she was only a few weeks old (first session and second session). Now she’s a year and a half and so grown up! It has been such a treat to be able to photograph her many milestones.
