When Charlotte’s mother contacted me about photographing her daughter’s senior portraits I was in the middle of my busiest season. I had barely a free moment. I was honest with her about my work schedule, but she persisted and we managed to find a time that worked for us all. Boy was I glad I squeezed Charlotte into my schedule. She is a kind young woman, smart and beautiful, and for sure great in front of the camera.

This time of year is really perfect for family portraits. The grass is super green, not burnt out from the hot summer sun, all the flowering plants are bursting with color and softness, and the kids (parents, too!) are beyond ready to be outside in the warm sun.
