Maine Portrait Photography | Braving the Cold
January 2, 2013I fully intended to share these images with you back in October to get you all interested in doing portraits for the holidays. But I was so far in the weeds editing wedding images that I never got a chance to post anything. It pained me that all of these wonderful images were left languishing on my hard drive so I’ve put a few together for you at long last. We shot all of these images in the very late fall/early winter (of 2011 I’m ashamed to say). Mainers don’t let a little cold weather keep them indoors, and for that I am truly grateful. In studio portraits might be easier in terms of controlled lighting and weather conditions (i.e. no wind), but they lack the environmental element that I think is so special about living here on the coast of Maine.
