When I first met Erin and Dave to talk about photographing their wedding, I walked away from our meeting with my fingers crossed, hoping that they would hire me. They were super adorable and had a unique vision for their wedding. And we had gotten along smashingly. I’m pretty sure I jumped for joy when they hired me. A few months later we got to talking about their engagement session. They suggested shooting at Recompence Camp Ground in Freeport, Maine. I’m always up for exploring new locations so we set a date and met up there. To say these two were fearless would be an understatement; they were game for just about every pose and location I suggested. We all loved the results. Take a look and let me know what you think!

Nine week old baby Sidney was such a rock star at our portrait session.  She wouldn’t sleep for us much, but she didn’t cry, either.  I loved how perfectly round her sweet little face is.

I really have to hand it to my clients. They don’t let a little chill in the air keep them from getting outside for our portrait sessions. We were incredibly lucky when we found ourselves with an unseasonably warm day at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth for Alita’s second session. We were hoping for a little greenery but in all honesty were happy to find dry ground and warm sun. As this was Alita’s second time in front of my camera, she was as professional a model as they get. I think it’s fair to say that session number three is going to yield impressive results.
