Bet Ha’am Wedding | Maine Wedding Photography by Amy Salerno

February 8, 2018

Aliza and Brendan were married on a crisp fall day in South Portland, Maine. Despite the chill in the air and the rushed schedule the bride and groom never faltered. We were able to get some beautiful images along the coast at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth before their ceremony at sunset at  Congregation Bet Ha’am. This wedding had so many amazing personal touches. Aliza is an artist, and she created a stunning ketubah crafted from wood as well as Brendan’s wooden cufflinks. Brendan’s mother is also an artists, and she crafted all of the decorations from the chuppah to the centerpieces and the fabulous cornucopia on the candy table. Aliza’s mother is a cantor in Pennsylvania and performed parts of the service making for a truly personal and special ceremony. This was truly a unique event like none other. Family and friends from near and far danced all night long in celebration of the newlyweds.

Best wishes to the happy couple!
