Camden Snow Bowl Wedding | Maine Photography by Amy Salerno

December 18, 2013

When I answered the Christina’s call and she told me she was getting married, I was beyond thrilled. A few years earlier her sister was married at an art gallery in Rockport, and I had the honor of photographing it. Now it was Christina’s turn, and she was hoping I was available to photograph her wedding at the Camden Snow Bowl. Without hesitating I said YES! I would have rearranged my schedule to be available. It wasn’t until much later that it occurred to me that there would probably be a ride in a chair lift involved at this event, and I had developed a healthy fear of heights over the years that would only be worsened by having all my gear strapped to me.  Being the professional that I am, I sucked it up and even managed to shoot off a few frames from the highest points. Of course, being me, I did lose a lens hood while I was suspended up there so if you are hiking under the chair lift and find it, let me know!

It was a true delight to photograph Christina and Brian’s wedding. From start to finish these two made it such a personal and warm event, and everyone in attendance had a most excellent evening. Below are some images to give you a flavor of how the day went, and if you want to see more just take a look at the slideshow.

The bride wore a gown by Peter Langner and a party dress by Kate Spade. Her shoes were by Kate Spade. The groom and best little man wore Vans. Many thanks to the Camden Snow Bowl, Trillium Catering, and the Time Pilots for a great evening.
