Photographing a bar/bat mitzvah is such a fun break from weddings. I started my career shooting these events in Washington, DC, and when I started focusing more on weddings I never realized how much I would miss them. I feel so fortunate to have been connected with Delaney and her family through the super talented crew at Janie Haas Events. Laney is a sweetheart, and she and her family were such a joy to photograph. Laney had a morning service (which she nailed natch) followed by a lovely luncheon. The kids’ party in the evening was ridiculously fun. The decor was amazing, and the DJ group kept the party going until late into the evening. It was a true pleasure to photograph both events.
